Design and Construction
Constructed with plastic, the Galaxy A10 employs a glossy finish that extends to the edges of the smartphone. because of the unibody design and therefore the finish, the device is smooth to carry and feels firm within the hands. It also sits comfortably on the palm, thanks to the rounded edges. One downside of the smartphone’s finish is that it does take up plenty of fingerprints and smudges. you would possibly want to suit the A10 during a case if you’re not keen on that.
On the device’s rear, one 13MP camera sits on the upper right corner, with the LED flash underneath it.
If you look a couple of paces down the rear, you’ll find the smartphone’s speaker. the location of the speaker is quite inconvenient, as we ended up covering it whenever we’d hold the smartphone.
The volume rocker and therefore the power button are both situated on the proper side. the facility button is definitely reachable; on the opposite hand, the quantity rocker’s placement is sort of high.
We ended up stretching out thumb a touch more to regulate the quantity with just a hand. Both buttons are clicky and tactile. On the left side, one can find the twin SIM tray and therefore the dedicated micro SD card slot.
Situated at rock bottom are the micro USB port, the 3.5mm headphone jack, and therefore the microphone.
Display and Multimedia
The Galaxy A10’s screen measures at 6.2-inches, and comes with a notch, one that Samsung dubbed as an Infinity-V display. Compared to other notch sizes and/or shapes, the Infinity-V display is, well, a V-shaped notch that’s slightly bigger than dewdrop or waterdrop notches.
As for bezels, the A10 has pretty slim ones on the edges, but it gets rather thick around the chin area. Bezels are expected though, especially for a smartphone within the entry-level segment.
The A10’s display features a resolution of 1520 x 720, and thus, it can only play up to 720p videos on YouTube. Despite that, the panel shows deep blacks, and therefore the color reproduction is vibrant. Another thing about the A10 is that it's a bright display; at 50%, we were ready to use the smartphone under direct sunlight with no difficulties.
For audio, however, the location of the A10’s speaker is quite unfortunate. As mentioned, we’d find yourself covering the speaker holes and setting the device on a flat surface isn’t ideal either because it leads to muffled sounds. The phone’s audio quality is pretty substandard as well; while the audio is loud, it also comes out sounding slightly distorted.
Camera
A single 13MP shooter sits at the rear of the A10, while a 5MP front camera resides within the V-shaped notch. When it involves selfies, it’s worth noting that the A10 doesn’t have a beauty mode. You’d need to download separate third-party apps if you would like slightly of smoothness or anything of the type .
Despite the shortage of a beauty feature, the A10 does take decent selfies, enough to be posted on social media. As for the only 13MP rear shooter, the photos it produces are pretty impressive. In natural and ample lighting, the colours are pretty accurate, and details are present also . The A10 only has 2x digital zoom, but even then, the small print captured still look pretty good.
For videos, A10 can increase to 1080p at maximum. There’s no stabilization so it are often shaky sometimes . the small print are satisfying though, as they don’t begin muddy, and therefore the colors are accurate also .

AnTuTu – 89,917
Geekbench – 1,162 (Single-core), 3,594 (Multi-core)
PC Mark – 5,201 (Work 2.0)
3D Mark – 523 (SSE – OpenGL ES 3.1), 588 (SSE – Vulkan)
AndroBench – 302.0 MB/s (Read), 101.52 MB/s (Write)
The performance is average at best; you'll smoothly navigate round the home screen, load apps quickly, browse social media, and therefore the like. Still, having multiple apps running within the background would take a toll on the phone’s 2GB RAM, and there’ll be some noticeable delays once you undergo apps.
As for gameplay, we tested out Asphalt 8 and PUBG on the A10. We played both games at its lowest setting possible, and both games had lags and frame drops from time to time. You’ll also feel the device warm-up around the upper area, especially round the camera, but it’s not regrettable nor uncomfortable when it happens.
Connectivity and Battery Life
When it involves connectivity, the A10 has standard features like 4G LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth. There’s also a gyroscope sensor, so playing AR games like Pokemon Go and therefore the newly-released Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is feasible. Pinning locations in apps like Waze and Google Maps were easy also.
A 3,400mAh battery capacity gives life to the A10. PC Mark’s battery test gave it a score of 13 hours and 4 minutes. As for our usual video loop test, we got about 15 hours and 10 minutes thereon before it completely pack up. Charging the device will take you about 2 hours until it’s full again.
Conclusion
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A10 may be a decent enough entry-level device. it's a modest screen size with a positive display, impressive rear photo quality, acceptable selfie photo quality, good battery life, which pretty sweet system-wide Night Mode. Although some won't be too keen on its single rear camera, average performance, speaker placement, audio quality, frame drops during gaming, and therefore the slow reaction time of the face recognition feature.
For the worth of PHP 6,990, the A10 could be ideal for those trying to find a phone to provide their basic needs. Otherwise, if you’d wish to have an entry-level device with a performance that surpasses the A10, has more biometric and security measures, and has dual-rear cameras, there are competitive phones that substitute an equivalent price range because the A10.
Thanks for sharing such a great piece of content. It really helps me and clears so many thoughts running in my mind. Besides, I'm from Pakistan and curious to know Samsung A10 Price in Pakistan.
